Energy Intelligence, a leader in embedded network management and energy infrastructure solutions, is proud to announce our role as the Embedded Network (EN) and Embedded Network Manager (ENM) for Melbourne Connect’s pioneering battery installation. This significant project, Australia’s first grid-connected urban battery dedicated to a large city network, represents a major step forward in sustainable city energy solutions.
As the EN and ENM, our team oversaw the seamless integration of the battery into Melbourne Connect’s network, coordinating with stakeholders and managing compliance to ensure the system’s operational integrity. This integration enables Melbourne Connect to optimize renewable energy usage, stabilize grid demands, and provide backup power to critical areas, furthering the city’s commitment to sustainability.
Adding to the battery project’s impact is the unique artwork by renowned artist Mysterious Al. His iconic, vibrant mural on the battery installation has transformed it into a city landmark, bringing art and energy innovation together. This public artwork not only enhances the visual appeal of the project but also engages the local community, making sustainable energy a visible, celebrated part of the city landscape.
