Victorian Energy Bill Relief Program: Rebates Now Available for Households and Small Businesses in Embedded Networks

We are excited to announce that the Victorian Government is now offering energy bill rebates for both residential tenants and small businesses operating within embedded networks. These rebates are aimed at reducing energy costs and easing financial burdens.

$300 Energy Bill Rebate for Residential Tenants
Residential tenants living in embedded networks are eligible for a one-off $300 rebate to help lower energy expenses. To apply, you will need:

  • A recent Energy Intelligence energy bill (emailed to you if you receive bills digitally)
  • Proof of identity (e.g., driver’s license or Medicare card)

$325 Energy Bill Rebate for Small Businesses
Small businesses in embedded networks can apply for a $325 rebate to reduce energy expenses and manage operational costs. To qualify, businesses must meet the following requirements:

  • A recent Energy Intelligence energy bill (emailed if applicable)
  • Annual energy consumption below 40 MWh
  • An active ABN listed on the Australian Business Register
